Sound + Music Therapy

Calming the nervous system, healing the body

Somatic sound and music therapy are integral to sound + nature’s offerings. Combined with Traditional or Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, or as a modality on its own, music and sound can create an altered state that supports deep healing. Eric is trained in classical Indian music and utilizes the Bansuri flute as well as other instruments to create a transformative environment that deepens the healing process.

Eric and I sang, beatboxed, and played musical instruments together. I found myself more alive and regulated during our sessions. By expressing my momentary impulses through music I was able to access tenderness, connection, and play. The therapeutic container helped me feel more comfortable taking small risks and opening up in a non-verbal way.
